Do you believe using generic Triple Sec in replacement for the Cointreau would be alright? Since I already have the Triple Sec and my eyes rolled a little when I saw Cointreau's price. I know Cointreau is a better quality product but I just can't bring myself to pay that much right now. (I'm not an alcohol connoisseur, still far too young for that)
Triple Sec is fine. Triple Sec, Cointreau and Grand Marnier are all orange liqueurs and be substituted with each other (though technically Grand Marnier is a orange flavor cognac which is why it's more pricey than the other too).
8/10 Very interesting flavor, worth the try. If Christmas had a flavor, it would be this.

As an aside, I'm the anonymous that's posted two or three times in the last 24 hours haha.
