Has anyone tried this I am thinking of making it also my local lcbo doesn't have midori any good substitutes I could use they showed me something in a cocktail area when I showed them what I needed that was melon flavoured
You'll be wanting a sweet liqueur to substitute for the midori. Strawberry Liqueur may be a good replacements. Other suggestions are Mango liqueur, banana liqueur (maybe) or a sweet schnapps like butterscotch schnapps.
It's hard to think of any good replacements as everywhere I go they always have a melon liqueur around.
today I finally am going to buy all of this I found a melon liqueur they said I could use as a substitute so I will tell you what I think of the drink..I have been waiting too long to try this out xD
...but does it taste like purple?
